Welcome to Discovery Kid's Morning Preschool!
As both a mother and caregiver, I understand how important it is for families to feel safe, supported, and confident when choosing a program.
Since 2020, families have trusted me to create a nurturing environment where children are cared for with patience, structure, and genuine love as the owner and lead provider of Crown Heights Childcare Collective.
What began as a trusted childcare community has grown into a morning preschool program designed to give children a joyful introduction to learning, socialization, and independence in a small-group setting.
I’m honored to be part of each child’s early learning journey that is in my care and I look forward to welcoming your family into our program!

What ages do you accept?
Our morning preschool program is designed for children ages 15 months - 2.5 years who are ready for a gentle introduction to a structured preschool environment focused on play, learning, and socialization.
What is your teaching approach?
Our program uses a play-based learning approach that encourages creativity, exploration, social-emotional growth, and early development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

Is the program full-time or part-time?
Our morning preschool is a part-time program with flexible scheduling options to support the needs of different families while maintaining consistency for children.
What does behavior management look like?
We believe behavior is communication! We approach children with patience, consistency, and compassion. Our goal is to help children build emotional regulation, confidence, and positive social skills in a supportive environment which include:

What should I bring?

What if my child has never been in a program before?
That is completely okay. Many children join us as their first group learning experience. We support children through gentle transitions and help them build confidence at their own pace.
How does the drop-off transition work?
We understand that separation is a big transition for both children and caregivers. To help children feel safe and secure, we offer a gentle two-week transition period where caregivers may stay for part of the program as children gradually adjust to separation and classroom routines.
For children who need additional support during the transition, we also offer flexible early pick-up options while they build comfort and confidence in the program. Our goal is to make the transition feel positive, supportive, and individualized for every family.
How do I enroll?
Families can contact us directly to learn more about availability, scheduling options, and tuition or simply enroll directly with us at the end of this page under "Enroll 2026-2027" (especially if you are familiar with our space and caregivers and want to save time)! If our program is full you will be added to our waitlist and will be contacted if a space opens up.
Can I schedule a tour before enrolling?
Absolutely! We encourage families to schedule a tour to meet Ms. Evianna, assistant & substitute providers, explore the space, and learn more about our program community.
